Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Urology Junior Clinical Fellow to join our dynamic team at University Hospitals Dorset. This exciting opportunity will provide the successful candidate with the chance to develop their clinical skills and knowledge in a supportive and stimulating environment.

Main Responsibilities
  • Participate in a 1 in 8 on-call rota for Urology, fully supported by a Urology Consultant of the Week.
  • Elective training outside of on-call commitments will include a mixture of day case and major surgery lists, supervised outpatient clinics, and diagnostic sessions for flexi-cystoscopy, precision point prostate biopsy and urodynamics.
  • Work within a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the development of the Urology Service.
Requirements
  • Eligibility for GMC registration and completion of foundation training.
  • Basic Medical Qualification and MRCS or equivalent – Part A.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team and demonstrate a flexible attitude.
  • Good communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
