About the Role

This is a fantastic chance for an established or new Registered Nursing Associate to develop their skills and experience in a dynamic and supportive environment. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will work closely with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, person-centred care to older adults.

Main Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with the registered nurse and multi-professional team to assess, plan, organise, and deliver clinical care that meets the individual needs of patients.
  • Develop and maintain a breadth of knowledge across the lifespan and nursing fields, providing holistic and person-centred care for people of all ages and backgrounds.
  • Take ownership of delegated tasks and responsibilities under the direction of the supervising registered nurse, working within designated parameters of practice.
  • Contribute to the development of a culture of learning and innovation, promoting high-quality learning environments and opportunities for growth.

Person Specification
  • FdSc Nursing Associate Practice qualification
  • NMC Registration as a Registered Nurse Associate
Knowledge and Experience
  • Previous experience working in a healthcare setting
  • Ability to work effectively in teams under appropriate supervision
  • Understanding of how to evaluate strengths and development needs, seeking guidance when necessary
  • Experience providing and receiving complex information
  • Breadth of person-centred nursing knowledge
  • Understanding of the scope of the Registered Nursing Associate role within the nursing team and organisation
  • Awareness of NMC professional standards for practice contained within The Code

We estimate the salary for this role to be around £27,000 - £34,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
