Kingston upon Thames, Greater London, United Kingdom Ambitious about Autism Full time

The Spring School will be a part of the Ambitious about Autism Schools Trust, which was established as a multi-academy trust to develop new free schools. This trust is committed to providing high-quality education and support for autistic children and young people.

We are seeking an exceptional, creative Therapy Advisor who wants to make a difference in the lives of the young people we work with. As a member of our transdisciplinary team, you will work together to improve outcomes for children and young people through the application of your expertise in occupational therapy.

Your role will involve providing high-quality therapy advice and support across the three tiers of support (universal, targeted, and specialist). You will work closely with class teams to create enabling environments and reduce occupational barriers to the curriculum. Additionally, you will devise and implement individual and group intervention programmes, and write and support the fidelity of therapy programmes for others to deliver.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a brand-new school and make a real impact on the young people we work with. As a Therapy Advisor, you will have the chance to develop your skills and expertise while contributing to the success of our school.

In return, we offer a wide range of benefits, including 40 days' holiday, plus bank holidays, a commitment to Continuing Professional Development (CPD), excellent career opportunities, professional membership fees paid, and a welcome bonus of up to £3000.

We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all suitably qualified candidates. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and successful candidates will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
