Occupational Health Nurse Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Occupational Health Nurse to join our team at a leading oil refinery in the UK. Our Occupational Health team provides high-quality clinical care, management, and expert advice to employees across the business.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct pre-employment, fitness for work, and health screening assessments, including audiometry, spirometry, HAVS, and blood tests.
  2. Provide health preparation for employees traveling overseas, including immunisations and vaccinations.
  3. Perform breath testing and specimen collection under the alcohol and drug use policy.
  4. Conduct biological monitoring in line with our Clinical Operations programmes.
  5. Assist site management with the classification of occupational illness/injury.
  6. Offer health counselling and advice to employees, including signposting to seek medical advice for acute and chronic conditions.
  7. Deliver targeted health promotion and wellbeing activities.
  8. Collaborate with the MOH Manager and colleagues on significant OH issues.

This role is classified as Inside IR35, and the advertised rates are PAYE. You can operate via an Umbrella company if preferred. The role is 100% office-based in SO45 1TX.
