Job Title: Credit Underwriter - Corporate Developed Markets

Citi is seeking a seasoned Credit Underwriter to join our Institutional Credit Management (ICM) team in the UK. As a key member of our Corporate Developed Markets team, you will be responsible for underwriting complex relationships across Western Europe, working closely with our Banking, Capital Markets, and Advisory (BCMA) and Risk Management teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute underwriting activities, aligned with global and regional strategies, including credit analysis, underwriting, and monitoring.
  • Conduct detailed reviews of financial data, projection modeling, stress testing, and other in-depth analysis.
  • Foster relationships with key clients, regulators, and internal control functions.
  • Support strategic initiatives and projects with the ICM Underwriting Global Head of Corporate Developed Markets and Head of Industrials Underwriting.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in credit risk management, relationship banking, or a related field at a senior level.
  • Strong understanding of global credit risk management standards and capital markets products.
  • Ability to provide strategic insights and navigate complex regulatory issues.
  • Excellent communication and partnership skills, with a proven track record of building strong relationships.
