About the Role:

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Transport Support Assistant. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young people with special educational needs (SEN) to get to and from educational settings.

Key Responsibilities: Your primary responsibility will be to safely transport children and young people with SEN to and from educational settings. You will work closely with our team to ensure that every child receives the support they need to thrive.

Requirements: No formal qualifications are required, but you will need to have a natural rapport with children and young people, as well as an awareness and understanding of special educational needs. You will be provided with full training and support to ensure your success in this role.

Working Arrangements: This is a permanent position, with hours varying depending on the route. You will work core times, typically between 7:00am-10:00am and 2:00pm-5:00pm, Monday to Friday, during term time. You will also have the opportunity to enjoy school holidays.
