Comton Group is a leading distributor of raw materials in the engineering sector. We are seeking an experienced Sales and Business Development Expert to join our expanding sales team in Milton Keynes.

This role offers a unique opportunity to service existing accounts and develop new business relationships, leveraging strong partnerships with customers to drive growth and revenue. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for recognizing areas of profitable growth for our clients, completing sales quotations, supporting the creation of strategic proposals and bids, and owning the key accounts material demand planning process.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with our clients, identifying opportunities for growth and improving customer forecast accuracy.
  • Business Development: Proactively seek out new business opportunities, networking with industry contacts and attending relevant events to expand our reach.
  • Sales Quotations: Prepare and present comprehensive sales quotations to clients, ensuring all requirements are met and expectations exceeded.
  • Strategic Proposals: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategic proposals and bids that meet client needs and drive business results.
  • Material Demand Planning: Own the material demand planning process for key accounts, ensuring accurate forecasting and material availability.

About You:

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in the aerospace industry.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in CRM systems.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business, marketing, or engineering.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
