Demand Planning Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Demand Planning Manager to join our team at General Mills. As a key member of our Supply Chain organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing demand planning strategies that drive business growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts for distributor markets in Northern Europe
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of demand planning strategies
- Lead the development and implementation of inventory optimization strategies to minimize stockouts and overstocking
- Work closely with distributors to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to meet customer demand
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of demand planning strategies and identify areas for improvement
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
- Minimum 6 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain, or related field
- Proven track record of developing and implementing effective demand planning strategies that drive business growth and profitability
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret complex data and develop insights
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of advanced planning and replenishment systems (JDA, o9, OMP, Kinaxis)
- Experience working with German or Swiss distributors or retailers
- German language proficiency
