Analytical Equipment Technician

As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that our clients' analytical equipment is functioning correctly and efficiently. This involves installing new equipment, training customers on its operation and maintenance, and resolving any technical issues that may arise.
You will be working with a variety of analytical instruments and equipment, so a strong understanding of chemistry and instrumentation is essential. A degree in Chemistry or a closely related subject is also required.
You will be based in the UK, but will require frequent travel to customer sites, often overnight. This means you must be comfortable with extensive travel and willing to stay away from home regularly.
We are looking for someone who is not only technically competent but also has excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be working with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions, so a strong ability to build relationships is essential.
