Multi-Drop Parcel Delivery Driver

About the Role:
Pertemps Scotland is delighted to be supporting Royal Mail in recruiting multi-drop parcel delivery drivers. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering excellent customer service and ensuring the timely delivery of parcels to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sort and collect post and parcels at the local delivery office
- Use a hand-held device to capture customer signatures for deliveries and navigate your route
- Walk at least 8 miles per day, carrying a bag that can weigh up to 16kg, delivering letters and parcels with parcels weighing up to 20kg
- Drive and deliver on foot, pushing/pulling a trolley during deliveries
Requirements:
- Valid UK driving license with a maximum of 6 points (a clean license is preferred)
- Previous delivery or driving experience is preferred but not mandatory
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Strong communication and customer service abilities
- A commitment to safe and responsible driving practices
- Ability to work outdoors in all weathers
