Pertemps is supporting Royal Mail in recruiting Postal Delivery Workers across Scotland.

We have positions available across various regions, and we're looking for temporary staff for the festive period.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sort and collect post/parcels at the local delivery office
  • Use a hand-held device for customer signatures and navigation
  • Walk at least 8 miles per day, carrying a bag and delivering letters and parcels
  • Driving and on-foot delivery required, pushing/pulling a trolley as needed

Key Requirements:

  • Valid UK driving license with a maximum of 6 points (a clean license is preferred)
  • Previous delivery or driving experience is beneficial but not necessary
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Strong communication and customer service abilities
  • A commitment to safe and responsible driving practices
  • Ability to work 5 days out of 7, including potential weekend shifts

Excellent pay rates for this festive role, with £16.58 per hour to £18.08 per hour, and various flexible shift patterns available.
