About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Trade Marketing Manager to join our team at Berkmann Wine Cellars. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and executing effective trade marketing strategies to drive sales and grow our wine portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage channel marketing and key customer marketing initiatives to drive sales and gross profit across our key agency wines.
  • Develop and deliver inspiring, value-adding, and effective activations and promotions on our wine brands.
  • Work closely with the sales team to develop and execute annual trade marketing plans.
  • Manage marketing aspects of trade events, such as the Annual Portfolio Tasting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and achieve company objectives.
Requirements
  • Trade marketing experience, preferably within the drinks industry.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commercial acumen and numerical understanding.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • WSET level 2 qualification or higher.

  • Salary range £40k-£50k, dependent on experience.
  • 25 days annual leave rising to 26 days after 5 years' service and 27 days after 10 years' service, plus bank holidays.

Working Pattern

This role is 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (09:00 – 17:30pm), with flexibility to work from home and attend office meetings as required.
