Job Title: Senior Wine Educator

We are proud to be the largest family-owned and family-run wine importer in the UK, with a rich history of selling premium wine since 1964 to our ever-growing customer base, including both the on and off trade.

Veraison is Berkmann's independent training department, specialising in wine education for hospitality staff. Our unique in-house developed training modules are designed to make hospitality staff more comfortable when it comes to wine knowledge and service. We are also an Approved Programme Provider for WSET courses, offering these to our trade customers in addition to our Veraison training modules.

As a Senior Wine Educator, you will be responsible for designing and implementing bespoke training plans for key accounts, delivering tailored Veraison wine training sessions, and managing the WSET program for both internal and external candidates. You will also manage large elements of the marketing plan, including social media opportunities and interactions.

We require a self-starting individual with a minimum of two years' wine education experience, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the wine industry. You will need to hold a minimum of WSET Level 4 in Wines and be a certified WSET Course Educator. A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel around the UK on a regular basis are also required.

Working Pattern

This role is 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with some evening or weekend work required. You will have the flexibility to work from our Head Office in Clerkenwell or at customer venues throughout the UK.
