About the Role
RWE Offshore Wind GmbH is seeking a highly skilled Global Category Manager to join our team. As a key member of our IT/OT Procurement and Supplier Management team, you will play a critical role in shaping our global category strategy for IT/OT infrastructure services.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive global category strategy for IT/OT infrastructure services, including managed workplace, printing, networks, telecoms, mobile, data centers, and cloud services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement goals with business targets and deliver high-value outcomes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to drive innovation and improve supply chain resilience.
- Conduct complex RFx activities and negotiate contracts to secure best-in-class services and solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in the IT/OT supply market to inform strategic decisions.
Your Profile
- University degree with several years of professional experience in procurement or a related field.
- Expertise in procurement strategy, financial management, and negotiation skills.
- Deep knowledge of IT/OT supply markets and industry trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust-based relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
- Fluency in English; German language skills a plus.
