Job OverviewThis is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to work in our busy Agricultural Service Department.
The role involves performing maintenance and repairs on agricultural machinery, often at customers' farms. This requires local travel around the area.
Key Responsibilities- Act professionally and promote Ripon Farm Services with positivity and integrity.
- Advise customers on optimisation techniques for their machines, products, and services.
- Perform routine maintenance diagnostics and repairs in the field and at the depot workshop when required.
- Complete all reports and administration required for work assignments on time.
- Understand manufacturers' customer care process.
- Successfully complete mandatory training to support product knowledge and to maintain and develop your skills and knowledge.
- Comply with all Health and Safety legislation, Company Policies, and Procedures, to ensure safety of all staff, customers, and visitors.
- Perform pre-delivery set up on new or used equipment and supports service specialists when required.
- A driving license will be required as there will be a need to drive company vehicles and agricultural equipment.
- Knowledge of agricultural equipment would be preferred but full training on products and systems will be provided.
Monday to Friday (8am till 5pm) with flexible overtime to suit business demands, this will be seasonally, evenings, and weekends.
Salary InformationEstimated annual salary: £25,000 - £35,000 depending on experience.
