The Area Engineering Manager role is a key position within the Front End Delivery Team at Jacobs, responsible for delivering a portfolio of projects that support the safe operation of Sellafield Facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a multi-disciplinary engineering team to deliver technical solutions that meet client requirements, performance conditions, and constraints.
- Elicit and agree requirements with clients, and develop delivery strategies for timely implementation of agreed solutions.
- Conduct the Principle Designer role associated with projects being delivered.
- Evidence of design capability and delivery experience.
- Extensive post-graduate industrial/practical experience in designated skill sets, preferably within the nuclear industry or a related transferrable industry.
- Degree-qualified and Chartered Engineer (or equivalent).
- Appropriate institutional membership (Engineering/Scientific).
- Significant experience working in an engineering design environment.
