Job Title: Catering Assistant
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our Hospitality and Culinary Arts Division as a Catering Assistant. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting lecturing staff in resourcing and preparing for all Hospitality and Culinary Arts courses and Training Restaurant operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in providing and maintaining a well-resourced and hygienic environment to ensure the delivery of a quality learner experience.
- Carry out cleaning duties in the kitchen, training restaurant, and bar area.
- Receive and store deliveries, maintain and clean fridges and freezers.
- Prepare food and equipment orders for practical classes and undertake dishwashing duties as required.
Requirements:
- Awareness of hygiene standards and efficient service within a catering or hospitality context.
- Ability to work flexibly and independently within a structured environment.
