Job Description

This professional and dynamic organisation requires an experienced Accounts Manager to oversee the accounts function and supervise a team of junior staff members.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Accounts Department, supervising a team of accounts staff
  • Oversee the production of financial reports, including sales, purchase, and nominal ledger functions, to trial balance level
  • Produce monthly profit and loss statements, balance sheet reconciliations, and cash flow forecasts
  • Prepare monthly staff payroll, complete PAYE returns, and prepare quarterly VAT returns
  • Manage the credit control function, chasing overdue payments via email and phone
Requirements:

An estimated salary for this position is in the range of £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. The ideal candidate will have excellent teamwork skills and a proven track record in managing accounts functions.
