Senior Event Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Events Manager to join our team at Artemis Recruitment Consultants Ltd. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a reputable client based near the South East Coast, who is looking to expand their events team.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in wedding planning and event management, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional events. They will be responsible for leading the events team, working closely with couples, vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless event execution.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Event Planning and Coordination
Develop detailed event timelines, schedules, and checklists to ensure all aspects of the wedding or event are meticulously planned.
2. Team Leadership
Lead the events team, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of events.
3. Vendor Management
Coordinate with internal departments, including catering, beverage, maintenance, and cleaning teams, to ensure event details are aligned and all areas are suitably prepared.
4. Event Execution
Deliver events to the highest standard, ensuring the venue is always exemplary, with an excellent attention to detail.
5. Problem-Solving
Provide solutions to any issues that arise during the event, ensuring minimal disruption to the guests and the couple.
6. Compliance
Monitor all processes to ensure legal, safety, and operational standards are met.
Requirements:
Proven experience in wedding planning and event management
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Knowledge of event management software and systems
