Transformation Programme Manager

We are seeking an experienced Transformation Programme Manager to join our team at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our Transformation Team, you will play a critical role in leading and delivering complex programmes that drive healthcare improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain programme initiation documentation and associated plans, identifying and defining business objectives that are specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, and timely (SMART).
- Lead the delivery of programme plans, allocating tasks as appropriate, identifying risks, issues, and dependencies, considering best practice and current options, actively seeking feedback, and making decisions in the best interest of the Trust.
- Take responsibility for the production and submission of all project progress documentation for the programme.
- Identify and manage risks and issues, devising strategies for mitigation where possible, and escalating through agreed routes as appropriate.
- Organise and manage regular team meetings to monitor progress and resources, maintaining a regularly updated actions log, and ensuring robust systems of communication are in place amongst the project team, such that opportunities to influence are clearly signposted to all team members.

- Significant relevant project management experience and/or PMO management experience.
- Substantial experience of facilitating and managing transformational change within and across organisations to deliver healthcare improvement, effectively working in teams at both project and programme management levels.
- Previous relevant experience of working in the NHS, including in transformational programmes within acute outpatients and/or theatres.
- Experience of working with clinicians.
- Project management qualification P3MO/MSP/APM/Prince2.
- Evidence of continuing professional development.
