Job Title: Grid Manager

This role offers a unique opportunity to oversee multiple renewable technologies and work on projects in the UK and other European countries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external advisors to assess potential asset acquisitions, focusing on grid connection due diligence.
  • Identify associated risks and opportunities, develop mitigation strategies, and support asset valuation.
  • Maintain engagement with grid connection stakeholders throughout project development phases.
  • Ensure grid connection activities align with project timelines by working with EPC, Project Delivery, and Development teams.
  • Liaise with Asset Management to ensure compliance with grid connection agreements and coordinate grid maintenance activities.
  • Stay up-to-date with grid connection policy and regulations in GB, communicating relevant updates within the organization.
Requirements:
  • Deep knowledge of the GB grid connection process, including grid codes and technical standards.
  • Extensive experience managing grid connection processes in the UK, covering all stages from application to operation.
  • Strong project management capabilities, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
  • A proven background in the renewable energy sector, with a focus on project development (at least 5-10 years of experience).
  • Relevant degree-level qualification and strong analytical skills to navigate commercial and regulatory challenges.
  • Understanding of power systems, including network planning, electrical design, load flow analysis, and fault level calculations.
