The Role

As a Grid Connection Manager, you will lead on securing new renewable energy grid connections.

  • Carry out a grid-led approach to site identification, identifying available capacity, points of connection, and optimizing grid connection solutions for renewable energy projects.
  • Assess early-stage solar PV/BESS project opportunities through feasibility studies, liaising with network operators, and working with third-party consultants.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement grid connection strategies to ensure successful project delivery.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and secure new grid connection opportunities.

• Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to determine project viability.

• Liaise with network operators and third-party consultants to ensure compliance with grid connection regulations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in grid connection management or a related field.

• Strong understanding of grid connection regulations and industry standards.

• Excellent communication and project management skills.
