Job Title: Flexi-Cover Supply Teacher

Protocol Education is seeking a qualified and experienced Flexi-Cover Supply Teacher to work with local Primary and SEN Schools in the Hertfordshire area.

Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Flexi-Cover Supply Teacher to join our team. As a Flexi-Cover Teacher, you will work across all year groups as and when needed, covering lessons due to staff absence, extra teaching support, interim recruitment, or training.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging and fun lessons to students across all year groups
  • Carry out work pre-set by class teachers to a high standard
  • Manage the behavior of pupils while they undertake their work and ensure a constructive and positive environment is maintained
  • De-escalate situations within the classroom in a professional manner, adhering to safeguarding procedures
  • Collect and return work to the appropriate recipient
  • Report any safeguarding concerns using the school's referral procedures and safeguarding policies
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status is essential
  • Experience in Further Education, lecturing, tutoring, coaching, or project leading from a childcare or young adult background
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal, written, and reading comprehension
  • Degree-educated
  • Proven track record of positively impacting the lives of children
  • Right to work in the U.K.
