Job Description

Protocol Education is seeking a qualified and experienced Flexi-Cover Supply Teacher to join our team in Hertfordshire. As a Flexi-Cover Supply Teacher, you will work across various year groups, covering lessons due to staff absence, providing extra teaching support, and assisting with interim recruitment or training.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality lessons to students across all year groups, as required.
  • Carry out work pre-set by class teachers to a high standard.
  • Manage pupil behavior and maintain a constructive and positive learning environment.
  • De-escalate situations within the classroom, adhering to safeguarding procedures.
  • Collect and return work to the appropriate recipient at the end of each lesson.
  • Report any safeguarding concerns using the school's referral procedures and safeguarding policies.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status is essential.
  • Experience in Further Education, lecturing, tutoring, coaching, or project leading from a childcare or young adult background is desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, and reading comprehension are required.
  • Degree-educated and a proven track record of positively impacting the lives of children are essential.
  • Right to work in the U.K. is required.
