Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Static Engineer to join our team at Reed. As a Static Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned maintenance and responding to reactive call outs at our energy centre and satellite plant rooms.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Carry out planned maintenance on energy centre equipment, including pumps, valves, and pipework.
  2. Respond to reactive call outs and attend site to fix issues.
  3. Perform mechanical duties such as pump overhauls, valve and pipework repairs, vibration analysis, and PHEX maintenance.
  4. Perform electrical duties such as motor testing, BMS monitoring, meter checks, and fault finding.
  5. Servicing AHUs, FCUs, pumps, inverters, adiabatic coolers, valves, sidestream filters, PHEX, pipework, and having a good working knowledge of all other M&E & HVAC systems.
  6. Good understanding of L8/Legionella.
  7. Be a good problem solver with the ability to fault find and rectify issues.
  8. Manage subcontractors and the company's other technical resources.
  9. Oversee Health & Safety in line with our client's systems.
  10. Develop quotations for additional works and repairs as required.
