Salary Range

We offer a highly competitive salary between £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, along with a range of benefits including genuine work-life balance, accredited investor in people status, and a new and improved succession planning programme.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Manager to join our client's team in Edinburgh. As an Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, acting on varied audit work and ensuring deadlines are met in compliance with necessary regulations.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Deal with correspondence from clients and agree timing of work/scheduling with clients
  2. Regularly review and give feedback on work, manage own portfolio of clients (where appropriate), and produce draft budgets if required
  3. Delegate, supervise, and review work of seniors and juniors, monitor work in progress on all jobs within the portfolio, and undertake critical audit areas
  4. Review work and complete staff assessment forms, provide technical advice and guidance to more junior staff, and monitor performance of staff working on jobs
