Job Title: Software Testing Team Leader, User Platform

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Testing Team Leader to join our team. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for leading a team of software testers and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Plan and streamline testing phases to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Review and analyze requirement documents to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Own work estimations and focus on resource efficiency for faster market delivery.
  • Apply governance around quality and processes to optimize outcomes.
  • Ensure regulatory and PCI standards are adhered to across the testing phase.
  • Understand the efforts on both resource and time, while adopting a lean risk-based approach.
  • Enhance internal and external communication, working collaboratively with development counterparts to drive pragmatic solutions.
  • Foster development team relationships and promote a continuous improvement culture.
  • Mentor team members in pragmatism and risk-based thinking for innovation.
  • Facilitate the coaching of team members to assist with their development and assist in appraisal reviews and administration responsibilities of the team.
  • Maintain an open environment to encourage ideas for better testing practices.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • Commercial experience of leading large and diverse teams and projects.
  • Strong background in software testing.
  • Experience of testing large-scale websites.
  • Excellent understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Capable of multitasking and managing multiple streams of activity, shifting focus regularly.
  • Ability to think in a high-pressure environment and react quickly to challenging situations.
  • Proven experience of working in a fast-paced environment with constant delivery.
  • Ability to react well to changing requirements with a positive attitude.
  • Commitment to quality and thorough approach to work.
