Technical Expertise Role:

We are seeking an exceptional individual to strengthen our Engineering Platform team at ARM, a global leader in designing and enabling the next generation of intelligent computing systems. This critical role focuses on delivering high-quality solutions that drive efficiency and innovation across our engineering platform.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of software development lifecycle, automation using scripting languages, and experience with Linux distributions. Additionally, they will be well-versed in DevOps practices, infrastructure-as-code, and CI/CD tools.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of our engineering platform, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing innovative solutions. Your excellent technical skills, combined with strong communication and collaboration abilities, will enable you to effectively support software developers and drive the adoption of efficient build and test automated pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain the engineering platform, leveraging technologies such as AWS, Conan/Artifactory, Docker, and Jenkins.
  • Identify opportunities to improve platform reliability, automate repetitive tasks, and drive efficiency.
  • Support software developers in using the platform, focusing on efficient build and test automated pipelines.
  • Extend platform support for the latest hardware platforms, both in cloud and on-premises environments.
  • Collaborate with the team to implement new developer workflows, such as Product Quality improvements and the Secure Development Lifecycle.

Requirements and Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience with automation using scripting languages like Python.
  • Experience with Linux distributions and the software development lifecycle.
  • Strong understanding of DevOps practices, infrastructure-as-code, and CI/CD tools.
  • Nice-to-haves include experience with infrastructure-as-code for CI infrastructure automation, small team/start-up environment experience, and experience with CI tools like Jenkins, Docker, and AWS.
