Job Title: Senior Repair Operations Manager

 

About the Role

Ocean Edge Executive Search is working with a leading social housing provider to recruit a Senior Repair Operations Manager.

 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of repair operational teams to deliver efficient and effective services.
  • Ensure continuous improvement in service delivery and value for money.
  • Inspect, schedule, order, and post-inspect planned works for tenanted, empty homes, and other projects.
  • Provide efficient and effective responses to enquiries about planned programmes.
  • Assist and deputise for the Head of Services as required.
  • Monitor costs and use of materials, as well as subcontractors.
  • Liaise with stakeholders, including client representatives, suppliers, contractors, colleagues, residents, and others.
  • Report on performance, both financial and operational.

 

Requirements
  • Relevant experience in leading multi-disciplinary teams across multiple workstreams.
  • Experience in social housing repairs or a similar industry sector.
  • Good numeracy, literacy, written, oral, and communication skills.
  • Strong IT skills.
  • HND/degree or equivalent qualifications in a construction-related subject.
  • Able to create and develop relationships with various stakeholders.
  • Demonstrable commercial acumen and experience managing budgets up to £15m.
  • Understanding of Health & Safety Regulations and Asbestos policy & procedures.
  • Ability to apply Risk Assessments / Method Statements.
  • Fully qualified driver with a valid driving licence.

Location

The role will be based in West London.

 

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is around £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience. The company also offers a range of benefits, including pension scheme, life insurance, and paid holiday.
