Your Role

:

Oxa Autonomy's Sensor & Compute team is at the forefront of developing high-performance sensor drivers for autonomous vehicles. This team ensures that vehicles can accurately perceive their surroundings and make informed decisions. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for integrating complex vehicle systems into a cohesive whole, enabling our software to be developed and tested on our autonomous vehicles.

Your Responsibilities:

  1. Integrate vehicle systems to enable software development and testing on autonomous vehicles.
  2. Develop software for hardware integration and automation.
  3. Establish and manage test bench infrastructure for evaluating performance.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyse test results and implement corrective actions.
  5. Investigate the combination of the autonomous software stack and new hardware.
  6. Ensure each new platform meets Oxa Autonomy's standards.
  7. Write and perform test cases for these systems.
  8. Understand safety and legislative requirements.
  9. Debug electrical and hardware problems.
  10. Contribute to internal process documents and user documentation.
  11. Produce Field Bugs documents and participate in agile planning processes.
  12. Contribute to Autonomous Vehicle Daily Checklists.

    Requirements

    What you need to succeed:

    1. A degree in Engineering or related subject.
    2. A background in Automotive, Robotics, or similar industry.
    3. Familiarity with C++ and Python scripting.
    4. Knowledge of automotive and robotics communication systems.
    5. Knowledge of key elements of autonomous systems.
    6. Able to communicate clearly on technical matters.

    Extra kudos if you have:

    1. A background of using UNIX/Linux.
    2. Knowledge of working with commissioning prototype autonomous platforms.
