We are pleased to be working with a leading marine insurance company, based in Kent, offering expert services in marine insurance. As a Marine Risk Manager, you will play a critical role in handling a wide range of marine claims, including cargo, hull, and yacht.

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years' experience in handling predominantly Marine Trades and/or small Pleasure/Small Craft/Yacht claims. Experience in handling claims across the UK and Europe will be considered, as will broader experience across a variety of marine business classes such as Hull & Machinery (H&M) and Cargo.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing and adjusting claims under delegated authority
  • Accurately assessing and maintaining claim indemnity and fee reserves
  • Liaising with and appointing experts and lawyers as appropriate
  • Identifying subrogation opportunities and coordinating with the recoveries department
