About the Role:

We are seeking an Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist to provide support to our team and Operations. The successful candidate will be pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Health and Safety and will have novice to 3 years of experience in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with site industrial hygiene monitoring and support the management of IH equipment and calibrations.
  • Conduct sound level monitoring and noise dosimetry studies, qualitative respiratory fit testing, and physical demand analysis.
  • Implement Intelex (EHS Management system), dashboard, and automation, and maintain Enhesa, EHS Compliance Register, and Compliance Calendar.
  • Work with relevant departments on containment and combustible dust projects, conduct site health & safety audits, and develop EHS Training Programs.
  • Provide EHS administrative support, including safety data sheet management, new substance notification regulation tracking, and updating fit test records.

Requirements:

Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Health and Safety. Novice to 3 years of experience in the field. Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrated computer proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, and proficiency with the English Language.

Working Conditions:

Light physical effort and fatigue. Walks, sits, or stands for limited periods. May require occasional equipment operation, lifting of light items, and use of Personal Protective Equipment.
