Job Summary:

As a Performance Validation Specialist at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will play a key role in supporting operations and clients with specialized validation knowledge and information. This position requires a strong understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and the ability to ensure documents conform to Patheon Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), client requirements, and GMP.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute validation protocols for complex equipment, facilities, and computer systems.
  • Conduct 21 CFR Part 11 assessments and Data Integrity assessments for computerized systems.
  • Maintain a safe working environment and report potential hazards.
  • Collect, review, and verify data.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth validation activities.

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma/General Educational Development (GED) Certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience in a validation or science-related environment.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs and the English language.

Working Conditions:

This position requires ordinary ambulatory skills and physical coordination sufficient to move about the lab/lab office locations. The ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch periodically for prolonged periods of time is also required.
