Publicity Manager

As a Publicity Manager, you will be responsible for generating and managing ongoing publicity for ITV's daytime content, including This Morning. You will work collaboratively with the publicity team to devise fully cohesive and innovative publicity campaigns that reach target audiences and beyond.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement publicity strategies to cover all press, broadcast, and digital media.
- Work closely with on-screen talent to promote their programmes.
- Manage crises and reputation management of ITV Daytime and its programmes.
- Identify potential press issues and work with the team to devise appropriate action.
- Write press information and press releases to tight deadlines.
- Extensive experience working as a publicity manager or in a related field.
- Excellent news sense and a keen interest in news and current affairs.
- First-class copywriting skills.
- Excellent relevant contacts across a range of media.
- Experience of publicising projects on social media and within the digital sphere.
- Solid experience in crisis/reputation management.
- Proven experience of working with high-profile on-screen talent.
- Demonstrable creative and strategic thinking.
- Ability to identify good news stories and crisis situations.
- Excellent personal and communication skills.
