Located at our Rosyth site, we are seeking an experienced professional to take on the role of Ship Manager - Outfit Delivery. This position involves overseeing the successful delivery of wholeship outfit scope, encompassing all hotwork/coldwork installation and associated STW activities up to Vessel Acceptance.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Outfit delivery team, ensuring adherence to schedule, budget, quality, safety, and environmental standards. Key aspects of this role include:

• Delivery Strategy: Developing and implementing a robust Outfit Delivery strategy, aligning with the overall project plan and budget.
• Team Management: Leading and developing a high-performing team, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
• Quality Assurance: Ensuring strict adherence to quality standards and processes throughout the outfitting phase.
• Schedule and Budget Management: Monitoring and controlling project schedules and budgets, proactively addressing any deviations.
• Risk Management: Identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks to minimize potential impacts.
• Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicating and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.

This is a full-time 37 hours per week position based on-site at Rosyth. The ideal candidate should have significant experience in ship delivery, particularly in outfitting and installation, as well as a proven track record in project management, including planning, scheduling, and budgeting. Strong leadership and team management skills are also essential for success in this role.

Babcock offers a competitive salary range of £65,000-£78,000, commensurate with experience, plus additional benefits such as:
