Surveying and Cost Control Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Surveying and Cost Control Professional to join our client, a leading building contractor in the North East. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing contract variations, preparing subcontractor payment certificates, and contributing to monthly financial reports.About the Role
The ideal candidate will have experience of working for a specialist sub-contractor and possess knowledge of cladding. They will work closely with the Commercial manager to provide cost control and reporting on individual contracts, as well as an overview and cost management of all contracts.
Key Responsibilities- Pricing of contract variations
- Preparing subcontractor payment certificates, calculation and allocation of subcontractor payments, and updating spreadsheets accordingly
- Contribution to the formulation of monthly financial reports
- Negotiation and agreement of final accounts with main contractor QS
- Cash flow forecasting across all contracts to project company turnover
Salary Range: $50,000 - $70,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
