Electrical Engineer

A rewarding opportunity for an experienced Electrician to join our dynamic engineering team in Armagh. As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a vital role in conducting inspections, testing, and installations of electrical systems.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Inspecting and testing customer electrical installations (EICRs), including emergency lighting testing, fire alarm inspections, mains analysis, thermal imaging, and small remedial repairs as required.
  • Completing all relevant reports and certification using our cloud-based certification software.
  • Ensuring timely completion and submission of reports and certification.
  • Carrying out LED lighting replacements during and outside regular hours, according to project schedules.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Flexibility to work 40 hours per week, including evening/twilight shifts.
  • Willingness to travel to sites across the ROI and stay overnight when necessary.
  • Full UK driving license with 6 points or less.
  • Suitable qualifications: SVQ level 3, City & Guilds 2360/2330 part 1 & 2, or equivalent Level 3 NVQ.
  • Certifications: City & Guilds 18th Edition, City & Guilds 2391/2394 & 2395, AM2, IPAF 3a & 3b.
  • Good IT literacy.
  • Experience in electrical testing environments.
