We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Detached Youth Support Worker. This role will involve working with young people aged 10-25 who are isolated from mainstream services, providing support and guidance to help them overcome challenges and achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver 1-1 interventions for 3-6 months, supporting young people at risk of conflict with the law or criminality.
  • Provide information and strategies to manage conflict, improve family and peer relationships, and access education/training and employment.
  • Support vulnerable service users, responding to their needs and encouraging achievement, self-expression, positivity, confidence, and self-esteem.
Working Conditions:

Flexible shifts on Thursday and Friday evenings, Friday afternoons, and Saturday afternoons/evenings.

Accountability:

Reports to WLYAP Project Director and Team Manager/Assess and Connect Team.

Estimated Salary:

£25,000 - £30,000 per annum
