Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our Enhanced Support and Psychiatric Liaison (ESL) service, which provides urgent care in the community for young people with complex mental health needs.
Main Duties- Provide intensive support to young people and families, working closely with community CAMH teams to reduce risk and promote stabilisation.
- Work in acute hospitals providing psychiatric liaison, where young people may present at A&E.
- Supervise the ESL team to ensure robust psychological formulations and provide consultation and training to the wider Children's Services.

Person Specification- 2:1 honours degree in Psychology or better, with eligibility for Graduate Membership of BPS.
- Post-graduate doctorate in clinical psychology, with relevant specialist training or qualifications for Band 7 Psychologist.
- Clinical supervision for trainee and assistant clinical psychologists.
- Doctoral level knowledge of research design and methodology, including complex multivariate data analysis.
