About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Removals Porters to join our team at Johnsons 1871. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient relocation of assets, including furniture, IT equipment, and laboratory equipment.

Working in a fast-paced environment, you will be required to work independently and as part of a team to complete moves between various locations, including storage facilities and new premises.

Key responsibilities will include retrieving move orders, completing removals and relocations, following delivery plans, and maintaining a tidy and organized warehouse.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a valid driving license and experience in a removal or similar role. You will also need to be flexible with your working hours, as moves may require working weekends and evenings.

As a Removals Porter, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe transportation and installation of assets, as well as maintaining accurate records of completed moves.

We offer a competitive rate of pay per day, depending on your driving license and experience. As a Removals Porter, you will have the opportunity to work across the UK and Europe, with the possibility of overnight stays in lodgings or in a vehicle.
