Drive Corporate Communications Strategy

As a key member of the McArthurGlen Group team, you will lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive corporate communications strategy. This will involve driving B2B activity at the Group level, producing press releases and other relevant corporate PR material in-house.

Manage Internal Communications

You will be responsible for managing a team to implement the Internal Communications strategy, ensuring the flow of news through the company's intranet, MGnet. This will involve working closely with HR and other key departments and stakeholders to ensure a consistent drumbeat of Group, functional, and centre updates.

Lead Key Internal Events

Alongside the Group Strategy team, you will lead the planning and execution of key internal events, both virtual and in-person, for the company's Leadership Team and worldwide staff.

Manage Crisis Communications

You will be responsible for leading the management of crisis communication issues, managing external agencies, and briefing regional communications teams on all corporate PR and crisis management issues.

Scripting and Statement Drafting

You will script, draft statements, and letters for the Executive Team, ensuring that all communications are clear, concise, and effective.

Brief Senior Stakeholders

You will brief senior stakeholders to deliver compelling media interviews and identify additional relevant speaking opportunities, such as panel discussions, roundtables, and conferences.

Trade Event Communications

You will be responsible for all communication related to trade events, such as MAPIC, planning and ensuring timely preparation and approval of necessary assets, including videos, key messages, press releases, and brochures.

Inclusion, Equity, and Diversity

You will work alongside HR to demonstrate Inclusion, Equity, and Diversity at McArthurGlen via a calendar of captivating communications, campaigns, and events.

Corporate Website and Brochures

You will ensure the regular updates of the McArthurGlen Corporate website, brochures, and leasing orbitals, ensuring that all content is accurate, up-to-date, and engaging.

International Retail Media

You will develop and maintain relationships with retail media on an international level, ensuring top-quality industry coverage, particularly around key moments during the year.

Corporate LinkedIn Strategy

You will drive engagement and implement our corporate LinkedIn strategy, ensuring that our online presence is strong, consistent, and effective.

Brand Development and Marketing

You will work with the Brand Development and Brand Partner Marketing teams to ensure regular internal and external coverage for brand openings and updates.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Significant experience in corporate PR and B2B Communications for a large Pan-European or International Company.
  • Very strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Excellent organisation and planning skills, with a track record in delivering effective internal communications campaigns and content.
  • Past experience in planning and delivering large-scale events is preferred.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills, able to develop rapport, trust, and great working relationships with colleagues in a fast-paced, multicultural, multinational work environment.
  • Prior management experience is required.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Suite, including SharePoint.
