Deputy Project Director

We are seeking a highly experienced Deputy Project Director to join our Offshore Development and Delivery Team. As a key member of the team, you will report directly to the Project Director and deputise for them in their absence.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Project Director in the development, refinement, and delivery of high-value and complex HVDC Interconnector projects.
- Develop and execute project plans to meet or exceed project objectives and economic measures.
- Develop and administer Ofgem Regulatory submissions.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders.
- Support the Project Director in the design and development of project structures and resources.
- Extensive experience in project delivery, preferably in the electricity generation/transmission sectors.
- Strong experience of preparation, negotiation, and execution of NEC3 and FIDIC contracts.
- In-depth knowledge and experience of the HVDC and/or AC industry and delivery.
- Advanced knowledge and understanding of project management systems and governance arrangements.
- Excellent communication skills and experience of communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
