About the Role

Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our Outpatient Pharmacy team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in providing pharmaceutical services to our patients, working closely with pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and other healthcare professionals.

Main Responsibilities

  • Dispensing and issuing prescriptions
  • Providing advice to patients and healthcare professionals
  • Contributing to the provision of pharmaceutical services in accordance with legal guidelines and departmental procedures
  • Working with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care

Requirements

  • Registered or soon to be registered with The General Pharmaceutical Council as a Pharmacy Technician
  • Computer literate with experience of using dispensing, stock control, and word processing systems
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
