Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Rope Access Radiographic Technician to join our team at Oceaneering. As a key member of our Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) team, you will be responsible for conducting radiographic inspections on components, pipework, and structural assemblies to ensure their acceptability to specification.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out radiographic inspections using a range of NDT techniques to establish the acceptability of components, pipework, and structural assemblies.
  • Ensure that work areas are safe to carry out radiography activities, and that barriers are erected at a safe distance to prevent non-classified personnel from entering.
  • Conduct risk assessments and take necessary precautions to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Perform function tests on radiography equipment and report any faulty equipment to the supervisor.
  • Ensure that inspections are carried out within the parameters of the applicable specification, and that results are evaluated in accordance with the specification.
  • Produce clear and concise reports detailing the methods used and results of the inspection, including any limitations or test restrictions.
  • Carry out work in a timely and efficient manner to meet deadlines and changing priorities.
  • Work in accordance with Oceaneering's operating procedures and statutory/client specifications and requirements.
Requirements
  • PCN Radiography Level 2 qualification.
  • Rope Access qualification.
  • Offshore Survival qualification.
  • MIST qualification.
  • Fit to Train certification.
  • Valid Full UK driving license.
  • Valid Passport.
  • Good communication skills.
  • IT literacy.
  • Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency.
Working Conditions

This position is considered Shop/Outdoors, characterized by:

  • Primarily working outdoors during the day and at night.
  • Frequently working on or near moving equipment and vibrating equipment.
  • Occasional exposure to airborne dust, fumes, and gases in the workplace.
  • Work surface is stable (flat).
