Salary

Our competitive salary package starts from £60,000 per annum, negotiable, with the potential to earn up to £75,000+ OTE. This comprehensive compensation includes employee discounts and a pension scheme, ensuring that our staff feel valued and supported.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Audiology Operations Manager to lead our team in delivering exceptional audiological services. As a senior leader, you will provide clear direction and leadership to all Audiology staff while supporting the company's initiatives. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure high standards of audiological services, including accurate assessments, hearing aid fittings, and patient counselling.

You will work closely with clinical and non-clinical teams to achieve key targets and boost hearing aid sales. The ideal candidate will be an ethical and authentic leader, committed, enthusiastic, resilient, and motivated to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver a safe, effective, and efficient environment for our patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide clear direction and leadership to all Audiology staff while supporting the company's initiatives.
  2. Ensure high standards of audiological services, including accurate assessments, hearing aid fittings, and patient counselling.
  3. Develop and standardise clinical protocols for consistency and regulatory compliance.
  4. Provide ongoing training for clinical staff in audiological techniques and technologies.
  5. Oversee patient care strategies, including managing complex cases.
  6. Participate in strategic planning for business growth and efficiency.
  7. Manage sales and administrative staff, including training and performance evaluations.
  8. Ensure compliance with HCPC regulations and standards.
  9. Manage procurement, maintenance, and upgrading of clinical equipment.
  10. Implement systems to improve operational efficiency, including appointment scheduling and patient flow management.
  11. Lead and motivate the sales and reception team to achieve sales targets.
  12. Develop and implement sales strategies for hearing aid sales and related services.
  13. Provide training to the sales team on product knowledge and customer service.
  14. Monitor sales performance and provide feedback for improvement.
  15. Enhance the customer journey to promote loyalty and referrals.
  16. Develop and execute client retention programs.
  17. Implement systems for capturing customer feedback and managing complaints.
  18. Collaborate with the marketing department on promotional materials and campaigns.
  19. Establish relationships with industry partners, healthcare providers, and community organisations.
Qualifications
  • MSc in Audiological Science or equivalent, or BSc in Audiology.
  • Evidence of CPD.
  • Registered to practice as an audiologist with HCPC.
  • Proven experience in audiology and clinical management, preferably in a private clinic.
  • Strong leadership and operational management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement strategic plans and processes.
