Your new company is a leader in the healthcare sector, striving to provide cutting-edge services and support to its customers. We are seeking a Lead Health and Safety Manager to join our Fareham-based team, with travel to other sites as required.

This is a key role that requires ensuring Health and Safety compliance across multiple sites and services. You will be responsible for developing a health and safety culture, providing advice and guidance on Health and Safety matters, and maintaining ISO45001 & 14001 standards. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with a friendly team and have experience in a Senior Health and Safety Advisor / Manager position or similar. A NEBOSH Certificate (General / Construction etc) or IOSH qualification is essential, along with travel experience.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing health and safety policies and procedures
  • Providing advice and guidance on Health and Safety matters to managers and staff
  • Maintaining ISO45001 & 14001 standards
  • Engaging and managing contractors, liaison with landlords, and refurbishment and ongoing maintenance
  • Collaborating with a friendly team based in Fareham

Working hours are 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday (9am-5pm with 30 minutes' lunch). Hybrid working is offered with 3 days in the Fareham office and 2 days WFH (working from home) per week beyond the first 2 weeks.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in a Senior Health and Safety Advisor / Manager position or similar
  • NEBOSH Certificate (General / Construction etc) or IOSH qualification
  • Travel experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
