Job Overview
National Cybercrime Threat Response Specialist, UK Police Digital Services. The successful candidate will lead the cyber threat intelligence and security functions in coordination with the Strategic Threat Lead. This role requires proactive leadership and direction of day-to-day tactical and operational delivery of threat intelligence, threat hunting, vulnerability management, and malware analysis.

Salary Information
The salary for this position is estimated to be £67,500 per annum, based on location and industry standards. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including 28 days' annual leave plus bank holidays, rising to 30 days after 5 years of service, flexible working hours, and a range of wellbeing initiatives. Please note that relocation assistance may be available for this role.

Key Responsibilities
This role includes:
• Leading the NMC's Cyber Threat functions in coordination with the Strategic Threat Lead, including direction and coordination of day-to-day tactical and operational delivery of threat intelligence, threat hunting, vulnerability management, and malware analysis
• Providing expert advice and guidance to stakeholders on complex cyber issues
• Developing and implementing effective threat response strategies
• Collaborating with internal teams to deliver national and bespoke cyber threat support
• Briefing senior stakeholders and the wider policing community on the current threat landscape

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
• A breadth of experience across cyber threat intelligence, malware analysis, and threat hunting
• Excellent knowledge of adversarial cyber actors and their tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs)
• Demonstrated experience in a leadership role in a cybersecurity function
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
