At Kent and Medway NHS & Social Care Partnership Trust, we're committed to delivering exceptional care to our service users. As a Healthcare Support Professional, you'll play a vital role in supporting individuals with mental health problems and learning disabilities.

We're looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team of nursing staff based at the Place of Safety East. The role involves providing care and support to individuals detained under Section 136 /135MHA (1983 as amended 2007).

Main Responsibilities:
  • Deliver a patient-focused service that promotes optimum independence.
  • Provide routine information to inform work colleagues, patients, clients, carers, the public or other external contacts.
  • Offer support and advice to patients and their carers.
  • Enable patients to maintain and improve their independence by promoting involvement in therapeutic activity.
  • Give physical health care and physical health checks as required or instructed.
