Job Title: Machine Operator

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team at a recycling company based in Exeter. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for loading and unloading vehicles and ships using machinery such as 360Material Handler, Wheeled loading shovel and Forklifts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Loading and unloading vehicles and ships using machinery
  • Ensuring materials are processed safely and efficiently
  • Carrying out final inspection of dispatched materials
  • Assisting in the scheduling of inward and outward transport
  • Liaising with customers, drivers and contractors
Requirements:
  • Prior experience of operating 360Material Handler / Wheeled loading shovel / Forklifts
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends

  • A competitive salary of £25,038 per annum
  • Overtime paid at £19.26 per hour after 40 hours worked per week
  • A 30-minute paid break and 30-minute unpaid break
