A leading provider of fire protection services is seeking experienced fire door installers/engineers to join their team.
As a fire door installation and remediation specialist, you will be responsible for installing and carrying out remedial works to new and existing fire doors, ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications.
The role involves working on a variety of projects, including residential, education, and healthcare, with a focus on social housing properties across the East Midlands.
Key responsibilities include:
- Installing and carrying out remedial works to new and existing fire doors
- Completing works in line with manufacturer specifications
- Documenting works on a step-by-step basis, ensuring accurate evidence
- Problem-solving and overcoming unforeseen issues
- Liaising with customers and members of the general public
The successful candidate will have:
- At least two years' experience working with fire doors
- A strong background in carpentry and joinery
- NVQ or equivalent in carpentry
- Experience installing fire doors and frames
- Experience upgrading and remediating existing doors and frames
- Experience working on social housing FRA contracts
- Full UK driving license
Desirable qualifications include 3rd party accreditation/registration under the FIRAS scheme.
